Many of today's environmental conversations discuss the tragic ecological impact of global warming but often fail to connect the dots between these impacts and their direct influence on today's global humanitarian crises. They often discuss emissions or biodiversity loss without contextualizing the real, daily, tangible impact on lives and communities throughout the globe - and their increased expected severity within just 25 years, worldwide.
While we hope you'll resonate with the many lives you'll touch by paying closer attention to our environmental impact, the truth us: everyone has a stake in this game, and our goal is to inspire action in the name of good. Using music as our primary medium, our goal is to resonate with one another and encourage participation and genuine connection. We believe that if more people understood the gravity of our planet's situation and the direct it has on someone else's suffering, more people would be - not just willing, but moved - to join us in prioritizing environmentally friendly actions or conversations. And since artistic expression knows no boundaries, the medium itself is limitless in capturing attention, creating connections with eachother and Mother Nature herself, and sparking a collective movement. We also believe that this connection and our opportunity to still make an impact is something to celebrate.
Be on the lookout purpose-inspired music from Grammy-nominated and award-winning musicians/singer-songwriters, in-the-field film documentaries, dance collaborations, and podcasts with experts in a variety of fields from mental health to global development to marine biology. We also have a dedicated business, Candles for Hope, to raise funds and awareness, inspire a sense of oneness with all those they benefit, and promote daily more intentional living.
We will explore the impacts of environmental changes on everyday life in both 1st and 3rd world countries, the impact on both local and global communities and economies, migration and population impacts, the psychological implications for children, and more. We hope to elevate these conversations, hold policymakers accountable for their part, and inspire others to play their role in ways big or small so that we can save the environment - and mankind.
