General

Both Candles for Hope and Under the Ocean are currently just online projects/storefronts, with the exception of periodic in-person events such as fundraisers, live musical productions, organized action, etc.

We will also have pop-up shops/booths available at various local markets selling Candles for Hope, and where we'll be happy to answer any additional project questions.

Stay tuned for dates for all in-person events, opportunities, or markets to come!

MENA refers to the Middle East and Northern Africa, and is specifically mentioned throughout due to its extremely close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and its presence in the Mediterranean region which, as you may have learned, is heating up 20% faster than the rest of the world.

This makes climate change and the resulting humanitarian crises more time-sensitive, and the unavoidable mass migration shifts predict equally immediate and urgent humanitarian, economic, and political crises throughout other parts of the world.
